The head to toe bloodwood and maple inlay does not even compare to the tone of this instrument. The exquisitely carved, asymmetrical profile of the neck makes it as comfortable as the precisely set action and intonation make it fast and easy playing. In Tucson, Joe told me he had been playing everything he could get his hands on, and "This bass blows them all away!"
